Q)What are pyjama parties?
A)Current blogpost! :P

Our internal exams started on monday, the 2nd of february. And one day before the internals started, me and my friends(Shilpa,Sabah and LP) decided on having a pyjama party at my house on tuesday(the day of our last exam :P) to compensate for all the hardwork we needed to do for exams! (For those who know about the internals at OU...u'd understand the irony in the statement! :D)

It was tuesday and we finished the greatest subjects' exam ever! lol...Parties were never this exciting before! :)

We did all the necessary shopping for the day (chips, chocolates, cakes, munchies, drinks and everything edible!) and dashed to my house.We prepared the bed on the floor with matresses :P and a lovely tent over it(which was a collage of blankets)! U have to see it...its an amazing piece of art! lol...Each blanket has its own significance....the pink for girlie, blue for the beautiful sky ;) , multi-colored one for fun and the purple one for spirit! ( ok if u r wondering that you've never heard any of these color analysis...don't think too hard! I made them up! :P) After the setting was ready, we dumped all the soft toys into the tent...It was such a cute thing! :)




And then, we all changed into our supposed "pyjamas" (our language=> nightclothes).The tattoo event started then, with us naming our group as "ANGELS?" and making a logo for it..! Adding to it was our tag line, "Angels in the day,Devils by night!". A photo session started that almost lasted for half-hour with us taking all kinds of silly n cute pics! :) We then cut vegetables for the biryani( Oops read this sentence first: We planned to cook dinner! :P) And successfully completed it ;) n the food was mouth-watering( OBVIOUSLY, who made it? ;)) While having dinner we watched GRUDGE-2... me, LP n Sabah watched it with our eyes closed! (Its a skill u know? U should try it too! :P). Shilpa, the only devil (Oops should I add 'dare' in front? Never mind!) watched it with her eyes open n her face into the screen! It was SO scary!( No, not Shilpa!, the movie..he he). Afterwards we went crazy with fear that we thought we should play spirit game! hehehe .. We prepared the board but felt LAZY to play it :P.

The craziness wasn't lost though..we put ponies n ribbons n plaits to our hair n took loads of pics again! :P (Note: The total no. of pics by the end of the party=200+). We then got into the tent and fell all over the soft toys (GOD saved them! :P) We then talked about everything under the sun and fell asleep! ( Shil slept the earliest!)

We Woke up next morning at 9 (Shil tried waking us up earlier but in vain and pain! :P ), made and ate breakfast! :) ( shocking, isn't it? ) hehe...Took a while to get ready and we finally started baking our cake! It was lotsa fun cos we ate away half the ingredients before the chocolate cake was ready! :P The frosting(Triple Swiss chocolate-chip fudge) was so tasty that it went into our stomachs before it was on the cake :P. Finally after we baked it we realised we couldn't wait to eat it.We did some damn decoration took a pic of it for proof and binged on it along with the mocha brownie ice cream! (yummmyily yummy!).
We made a memoir that had our palm prints over a chart bordered by our thumb prints! :)

Then was the best part! THE PILLOW FIGHT! Omg...It just cannot be described in words! haha...The thought of it makes me burst out into laughter! The whole room turned out to be such a mess! LOL...! We danced and shouted and sang and went mad crazily cutely! :P

This is all a really really small version of what fun we had...In real, if I had to describe the event with my blabbering...It would be an easy 2-hour session! :)

And after yesterdays pyjama party I realised a few things that I never knew about me! :P One being, I have a streak of girlishness in me :P ( Thanks to the cooking and pillow fights ..loll!) and the other, I have amazingly rocking, fantabulous friends! :) heeeehaw! Cheers!

happy bday to me!!! :D

Face filled with happiness...Body trembling with excitement...Heart pounding with anticipation...What are these signs??What do you think they imply?? For me...Its the arrival of my birthday!! hehehe...Well,my birthday has arrived and departed too...(And is gonna be back soon just after another 11 months! :P ) This is an account of all events that made my birthday special and memorable! :)

September 9Th,11:00 pm : Rolling on the bed...waiting for another one hour to pass by really fast..Slowly i start falling asleep when at 11:30 something my phone rings!It was Sabah n i wondered if it already was 12:00...i took the call n she says, "I'm there down n the gate wont open,can u help??" That's a big surprise...I couldn't believe what i heard n i ask her,"Are you sure u r there down Sabah??" lol...and there she was!! I cut the cake(which was a yummy chocolaty one...) and bang!! My b'day !!!!!! happy b'day 2 u...happy b'day 2 u....!!! :))

My phone kept ringing almost till 2:00 in the morning...

Then was the turn for my midnight surprise gifts...My parents gave me huge gold ear-rings...lovely ones...N then...suman...his gifts were endless...20 greeting cards!(coz i turned 20..!),3 yummy tasting lip glosses (strawberry,mulberry n watermelon flavours! :P),two brooches,a heart-shaped rose bouquet,a huge collection of Lindt chocolates,a packet of huge toblerones,a box of ferrero rocher,a small cute teddy with flowers,a pillow with a cute teddy again,a car deco with a teddy again,two tommy hilfiger and aerpostale shirts and the final blast.....a samsung omnia touch screen phone!(wow...I was so dazzled..i barely knew what was happening..!!!)

I finally slept at 3:00am and once again I had to attend calls from 4:30am...It was so exciting...And it also made me happy to know there were sooooo many people who actually remembered and cared to call me!!! wow..!!

Whatever i did that day...The only words that rang in my ears were "Happy bday!"... :) Can a day get better than this one??NO WAY!!!

My friends came home in the morning and we had such a blast!!! It was sooo much fun...V played around n I cut a cake...And then the morning quota of gifts...A shirt designed by Ritu kumar(Sabah,amal,lp n sruthi) , A levis sykes skinny jeans(Shil!) , A cute penstand n a princess doll(all my friends) ,A mug that says "the best bday in the world"(thanks sushma!) and a beautiful collage from sabah with all our pics together and a collection of greetings !! Whoa...rocking..! :D We then went to Zafraan Exotica where the guys caught up...Ranjith gifted me this really beautiful black pearls set...!! And it was just WOW!!! :) After lunch we headed back home and I cut another cake!(This one with a pic of kakashi hatake..a character from naruto!I totally luv him! hehe :D) We played 'killer' for a while...I was laughing so much that my stomach hurt!!...

It was evening and my friends left..Then was my parents' turn!! We went out for the party my atha was throwing for me...It was such a beautiful sight..The whole house was decorated with balloons n cute hangings...And the cake was just awesome!! It looked(and tasted) so delicious! :) yummmmmyyyyy !! I had loads of fun there tooo...And the night quota of gifts...hehehe!!

A fast track watch,a cell phone pouch,huge greeting cards!,A box of ferrero rocher,princess show piece,A mug,a cherry flavoured body lotion,a box of twisters,and another princess show piece and 'an angel of chocolate' showpiece,a fountain pen,a basket full of chocolates, and loads of other gifts!

The guys who couldnt make it on my bday...Kandy gave me another rocking designer shirt, Adi gave me a huuuugeee soft huggable teddy bear and pavan gave me a pepe jeans tunic!! :) after my bday!! (Thats the late quota of gifts!)

Absolutely no words!!! :) This was definitely the best birthday ever(till date!!!)...

And you people...Yes,You people out there who made my birthday this memorable...Dont even think Im gonna say thanks and let it go...Im making your bdays tooo as special as mine!! :) Coz I loveeee BIRTHDAYS!!! :)

This month...:)

Hellooo people! :) Back again after a long gap!The reason of the gap being unable to decide what to write!..And now Ive made up my mind that ill write everything that's on my mind!! :)
Hmmm starting off...MY BDAY!!! haha...Yes,Its only 10 days away!! wowowowow!!! ha ha...!! Cant express the excitement in words! I totally love my bday!(Who wouldnt anyways!? :P) Preparations, dreams about it and every damn thing possible!! :D (U can expect a detailed blog on this after my bday! )
Bday shopping has been a blast (a few disappointments too...i totally detest that tailor who spoiled my dress...stupid fellow! ) Then there were experiences with the Hyderabad Central staff...And I ended up screaming on top of my voice at them! [:D] (Actually Ive started to discover the new evil side of myself...! I felt little happy after giving that manager a piece of my mind! )
Lately,Ive been reading a lot..(Of course not my course material)...But novels..I was never interested in them before!But then I realised they are a lot better than listening to the never-ending,pain-in-the-back,sleepy and boring classes in the college! hehe :D Here's the list :
Heart breaker,passionate adventure,serpent in paradise,Remember when,Sands of time,Doomsday conspiracy...bla bla bla...hehe...!But then Ive realised after all, reading novels isn't as big a sin as reading textbooks! ;)
Watching lots of Naruto these days! :) totally loving it..And feel like watching more n more of it!But the worst part is ultra slow speed of my Internet that's bugging me!But then,Naruto is worth all that wait..Its getting interesting by every episode!
And there have been these funny internals in between which were merely meant to remind us to start buying textbooks at least now! :P It was such a time pass! :D
On the whole,its been an interesting month! :)

What do I dream of ? ;)

I was reading an article on my Google reader that inspired me to write this post :) It boasts of all the things I dream of doing,owning or achieving!Have a look!

1.Learn to cook...! ~ best way to get into my mans' heart would definitely be through his stomach and also to put a brake to my moms everyday "bhaja" :P lol!!

2.Go on a world tour ~ starting from Paris,the most romantic place in the world :)

3.Go skiing, rafting and rock climbing :) ~ I'm definitely an adventurous person :D

4.Watch a horror flick without closing my eyes !!! (I guess this would be the toughest part :P)

5.Own an eatery(Includes chocolates,ice creams,all delicious foods(minus the non-veg dishes) at least for a day!( I wouldn't open the eatery for others :D)


6.Become THIN !!! ~ this one is a common ambition for all the girls :)


7.Do something absolutely crazy and not get caught for it :D


8.Do a fashion designing course! :D (I can wear designer wear everyday! )

9.Win a contest that would enable me to buy anything I want with a credit card(no limit!) in a day!

10.Buy really good stuff for all the people I love with my first salary(DESPERATELY waiting for that day!)

11.Marry like a princess! (A fairy tale wedding :D)....(A Big-fat-Indian wedding and a christian one too...I love that long white dress of the bride!)

12.Own the latest cell phones(at least one per month :P) and flaunt them indefinitely :)


13.Have matching watches, accessories and shoes for all the clothes I have! :)

14.Want the best birthday surprise party ever!(midnight cakes,candles,flowers.......WOW!!)

15.A life size teddy bear,that's all soft soft :D

16.Own a BMW and a PORSCHE (dude...one more car added! :P)

17.Cut off KCRs nose!!!(yuckkkkkk!!!...well well,I wont cut it off,Should get it cut....!No offence for anyone!)

18.Travel in a cruise...an exotic one... :)

19.Indefinite supply of chocolates throughout life :)


20.Start a company of my own :) (and yeah don't worry,Ill hire u! :P he he)

21.Own a time machine (sounds crazy!?)

22.Have a secret underground lab (remember any cartoon?yeah Dexter's lab :P)

23.Get invisible and trouble people! (muhahahaha !!...Evil instincts :P)


24.Love people and be loved by everyone! (This is one thing everyone would want)

Being at home uselessly without work for a few days has had its effect on me...I started discovering myself in a better way...Here's a brief post on the things Ive been doing since my last blog :)

This is the "About me" segment that Ive learnt by heart for my campus placements... ;) One week before my placements was such a pain!I knew nothing about myself!!Strengths,weaknesses,successes,failures,team work,hard work,work!!!!OMG!!Nothing...I knew nothing!All the time I would think what makes me distinct??How am I different from others?I completed this herculean task of discovering myself not alone,but with the help of many :)

I had cleared all the written tests for the first four companies in my college..The first interview was scheduled with Cognizant tech.I just had one nights time to revise all my subjects...(Of course I didn't revise any... :P)Just did the important subjects and went for the interview....My first one!!(Add 'first interview' to the "MY FIRST" post.. :D) I waited for pretty long before I went in...and finally it was worth the wait :) My interviewer was very young...As I entered the room, he smiled and asked me to take my seat...I made myself comfortable and wished him(He shook hands with me)...He looked at my application form,saw my photo in it and said,"Wow,You look like Kareena in this pic!!" lol !!! that's it...I knew it,I got the job!!!! :)) It was a very smooth interview(I cant even call it an interview...Id rather say a nice chat with a friendly stranger...)And thanks to my luck(I'm getting married to luck ;) ) the whole interview had no technical stuff in it!!It was over and (handshake again ;) )I was very elated and this interview had built my 'dead' confidence...

Next day was the Wipro interview,which I merrily skipped :) I next appeared for Infosys and yeah,Of course you re right!It went veryyyyy well :) The interviewer was old,but very friendly...Again it was just a friendly chat!!! :) All happies...So skipped the TCS interview next day!!! :))

Interviews were a really nice experience...And adding to it,I got my results...A very much satisfying 90% again...three times in a row!! :) Happies again!!

And another new discovery...Ive started to draw!!! :) I dint realise I could draw cartoons until recently...:D I'm putting put up a few pics of my drawings...So check them out and comment!!! :)

P.S:I'm not an artist or something..So please don't expect anything better than these from me :)

Water,water everywhere.........in SUMMER!!!

"You????Swimming???!!! lol !!"

"Hey don't be nuts! How can u learn to swim now?Its dangerous..."

"You are way too fat to learn swimming at this age!"

"U learning swimming now?why??"

"U cant do it..Its very difficult..."
These were a FEW of the negative reactions I had to listen to,when i mentioned to the people around me that i would be learning to swim this summer.Of course there were positive feedback's i got too...:)

Swimming was one art Ive dreamt of mastering from childhood...And now I had a chance(and company too..My brother!)...I knew I would become dark,thanks to the chlorine in the pool(This is a cause of worry for every girl :P)...But I considered that as a trivial issue...If I sat in the house for a week or so(and drank all kinds of weird juices my mom gives me),I would be back to my normal self...After lots of dilly-dallying,I finally decided I would learn to swim whatever be the case...I was more determined as i had competition in the form of my brother.It was an issue of prestige if my brother had learnt to swim before me!!

One day before I joined my swimming classes, I went shopping for my swimming costumes and accessories...I felt really shy to try out those outfits initally :P (surprisingly!hehe)..After wearing them, I realised I was looking slimmer than usual...(wow!)..I got a matching cap for the costume and goggles too...These things excited me all the more!! I was totally ready....

The day had arrived...I could hardly sleep that night...I was getting all nice dreams of me playing in the water,splashing water on everyone......With lots of excitement i wokeup,got ready and left...I went into the water excitedly...I had loads of fun(as in my dreams) until the coach had arrived...Then began our classes...we were asked to kick the water,move our arms around,learn to breathe underwater...Swimming was definitely not as easy as it seemed!!It needed lots of stamina and an atheletic body...!!

First day went on smoothly...It was the basics, one at a time.On the second day,we had to synchronise breathing,leg kicking and hand movement(herculean task!)..And I was surprised It didnt take me long to do it!!(learnt it on the same day I was taught)...I was way too happy and proud(The main reason being, my brother couldnt make it and I did!!!hehehe)...I was totally excited about getting into the pool the next day and to my disappointment,the pool was closed for maintainance...

The following day was such a disaster.I jumped into the pool as i did everyday..I started to swim and suddenly I start drowning..I failed to synchronise my movements...My brother was closeby and I tried to grab him for support...And this brother of mine!!!OMG!!He was busy with something..which,if i would mention here, would lead to my name being mentioned on a tombstone!!I had already gulped around 3 sips of the DIRTY water by then...I couldnt breathe...It was so tough to get out of the water...Finally I sensed a hand holding me...And thank god,I was safe!That helping hand was my brothers',he had finally realised what trouble I was in!After that incident,i totally lost my confidence..I started to develop hydrophobia...

This continued for two days..Meanwhile my brother had mastered the synchronisation and started to swim...I felt dejected...I thought when he can.why cant I?The coach took me to the 8-feet pool and pushed me into the water...I couldnt breathe again...He caught me and pushed me again...This time I could breathe...I did it!I overcame my fear of getting drowned...And i learnt swimming finally!! I was tooo happy :)

I started enjoying swimming...It was such a beautiful thing...Such a pleasure(after learning that is!)..When you get into the water and start floating,You forget all the materialistic things in the world...The best form of excercise...We had races in the pool...Total excitement!!I lost around 3kgs in just 15days!Ofcourse I had to sweat it out in the pool :) How not to lose hope,How to become more determined when people around you are not on your side,How exercise is an important part of your daily routine,How to overcome fears and How to make best use of your time everyday in summer holidays....I found answers to all these questions and most important of all...Ive learnt to SWIM !!!

And because of this "***@$$###" hurt of mine,Im sitting at home,doing nothing but recollecting all those memories...I miss swimming !!! :(
